Now Leasing Studios and 1-Bedroom Apartments!
In 1995, a group of volunteers developed a new living concept on Madison's East Side consisting of 23 apartment homes for people disabled by HIV/AIDS - the Rodney Scheel House. This vibrant community offers subsidized studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments designed and maintained to accommodate the needs of persons living with HIV, their families and care givers.
The Rodney Scheel House was created with care, with thoughtful planning and high standards applied to every detail. You will enjoy the welcoming atmosphere with a roomy gathering space with meal-prep area for shared dinners and group activities, beautiful garden areas outside for vegetables and flowers, and well-kept landscaping. Each apartment home comes with central air-conditioning, a personal washer and dryer, and off-street parking. Enjoy the convenience of being near bus lines and shopping including pharmacy, groceries, and library. Reach out to us with your questions or to schedule a tour!
