\nLast year was an exciting year for WMC thanks to the support of our team, clients and communities. As we conclude the first month of 2023, we’d be remiss to not take a moment to look back on some of our highlights from 2022. Here are a few things that stood out. <\/p>\n

City of Madison’s MadiSUN program<\/a> at The Ace Apartments.<\/strong> Early in 2022, we hosted an event for the City of Madison’s MadiSUN program, which sought to expand solar capabilities in our city. This program was implemented at The Ace Apartments, where we now utilize solar energy to power all common areas. <\/p>\n

Groundbreaking of The Eddy<\/a> in Eau Claire, WI.<\/strong> Growing communities is at the core of what we do. This affordable new building will open this summer and is designed for families, with units set aside for veterans and people with disabilities. The groundbreaking event in partnership with Cinnaire and W Capital Group was an exciting day for all stakeholders. <\/p>\n

Under Construction: The Second Stony Acres Building!<\/strong> We’re already making great strides on the expansion of our community at Stony Acres in Wisconsin Dells. This new building will have the same great features and amenities as our first building, featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes.\u2060 Stay tuned for updates on our progress in 2023! <\/p>\n

The Grand Opening of The Meadows<\/a><\/strong>.<\/a> As a first-of-its-kind apartment community in Darlington, WI, we were excited to celebrate the grand opening of The Meadows last fall. This affordable community offers housing exclusively for agriculture and farm workers, their families, and those retired from those industries. <\/p>\n

The Madisonian<\/a>: Where the Locals Now Live! <\/strong>The Madisonian officially began welcoming residents in 2022, after months of construction. Finishing touches have been completed and residents are enjoying their new digs complete with luxury apartment amenities. And for the full experience of what The Madisonian has to offer, they can also enjoy access to the fitness room and activity room, and make the most of their fantastic location on Madison’s East Side, featuring age-restricted apartments and family townhomes! <\/p>\n

Launch of the Employee Spotlight <\/a>series. <\/strong>Our team is the backbone of everything we do. That’s why in 2022, we kicked off our Employee Spotlight series to highlight some of our superstar team members, recognizing important milestones and achievements that they’ve made along the way. <\/p>\n

The Gingerbread Extravaganza.<\/strong> Hosted by Community Action Inc., The Gingerbread Extravaganza is something we love participating in every year. The goal of this non-profit event is to support local programs in Rock and Walworth Counties with affordable childcare for working parents to rental assistance that keeps families in their homes.\u2060 We’re looking forward to continued years of support. <\/p>\n
