Meet Beth, one of our Compliance Specialists here at WMC.<\/p>\n

Our in-house Compliance Department certifies income and expenses for all applicants and residents, ensuring program compliance for a variety of funding programs including Rural Development, Section 42 Tax Credit and HUD. <\/p>\n

This team of experts manages all aspects of the application and re-certification process to ensure the properties are in compliance with program requirements. <\/p>\n

Here's a bit more about Beth.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite thing about WMC? <\/strong>
\nWe have some wonderful employees and I have learned so much from everyone. I have learned much about myself through the support of management. <\/p>\n

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work? <\/strong>
\nI grow houseplants from seed and take care of them, I'm teaching myself Bonsai. I enjoy watching my kids play sports and do academic extracurricular activities. We have a new puppy as well as his kitty "siblings". My son and I also really enjoy going to Six Flags Great America during the summer! My favorite thing to do outside work is enjoy hot weather.<\/p>\n

What has kept you at WMC for 10 years? <\/strong>
\nI appreciate that I have had so many opportunities to learn and get extra training. I love the people I work with, and for, and really enjoy my job. It is important to me that I do something that helps people and working with affordable housing is a rewarding experience!<\/p>\n

What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting at WMC? <\/strong>
\nI was originally an Admissions Specialist and was given the opportunity to learn the Compliance Specialist job because a manager believed I could do it. I learned the job and have been continuously learning to try and be the best that I can be at my job.<\/p>\n
