Supporting Our Residents & Property Owners Through Challenging Times

It's no secret that 2020 was a financially challenging year for people across the country. COVID-19 led to unexpected job losses, which resulted in reduced income and missed rent payments. This, of course, impacted both our community residents and owners.

You might remember that having a positive attitude is one of our core values here at WMC, and the way we put this into practice is to put our heads together and problem-solve. Our focus was therefore to come up with quick and effective solutions for all involved.

One of the ways we've been able to support our residents is by being aware of what community programs were available to them. We're proud to say that our teams at The Fairways, The Pines and Eagle Harbor in Madison adapted the application process and assisted our residents in getting help from programs like those provided by the Dane County Care Program, the Vera Court Neighborhood Assistance Center and the Tenant Resource Center. Because of these resources, our residents have been able to get caught up on their payments quickly and with ease.

We’re proud of our property teams, both at these locations and beyond, for the work they continue to do to make such a positive impact on our communities and for quickly problem-solving during these challenging times.
