We feel very fortunate to have such a great team of people here at Wisconsin Management Company. With so much growth over the past couple of years, we are excited to introduce you to some of our employees whose contributions continue to make a huge difference here at WMC.
The next employee we want to highlight is Peggy Klimke who is an Assistant Property Manager and is celebrating 16 years at WMC this summer!
The role of Assistant Property Manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of their property, managing resident relations, and performing the tasks that help the community thrive.
Here's a bit more about Peggy!
What previous roles have you held at WMC?
Maintenance/Caretaker
What is your favorite thing about WMC?
My favorite thing about working for WMC is the friendships I have developed with Amy and Ann Marie at the Adams Office.
They are both supportive and good sounding boards on tough days, helping with any roadblocks I may face.
The satisfaction of being involved in assisting prospective tenants with locating an apartment that they can enjoy and call home is rewarding.
I enjoy being part of a company that sincerely cares for residents' health and welfare. Seeing the delight when a tenant has an outdated appliance, carpet or other item replaced or when arranging and following up on a complaint. The tenant's satisfaction is rewarding.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Tolerating the many COVID issues these past two years, my husband and I have held off with some traveling we desired to do. Hoping to travel out West this summer.
I love nature and the out of doors. We live outside of town and have an abundance of birds and wildlife. I have 15 different bird feeders which we keep supplied year round.
My husband and I are very involved in our 9- and 12-year-old granddaughters' school activities and transporting them here, there and wherever.
In addition to our local church communities and boards, I belong to HCE, and participate in home, community and education programs. I also enjoy working with the Tree House which is an organization in Wautoma that provides acceptance support and mentoring to troubled teens within our area.
What has kept you at WMC for 15 years?
I'm proud of the complexes maintained in Wautoma. Bird Creek has several tenants that have resided there for a substantial period of time. They care for the property as if it were their own and I consider them extended family.
I enjoy assisting Amy and Ann Marie in their efforts to maintain the integrity of the Wautoma Complexes.

What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting at WMC?
Attempting to maintain the properties in the best light possible with the funds available I feel is a great accomplishment.
Thank you for everything you do, Peggy!
