Apartment Decor 2023: Elevate Your Space with the Latest Trends

2023 Home Decor Trends for Renters

  |     |   Renters Tips

One of the most exciting things about having your own space is decorating it. And, just because you’re in an apartment home doesn’t mean you can’t parktake in this year’s hottest home decor trends! In today’s blog, we’re going to be covering some of 2023’s up and coming trends and how you can tweak them to fit your rental (and your lease agreement).

Moody vibes. More and more, we’re seeing darker shades and colors used in homes. Instead of painting a wall or changing the carpet, consider incorporating dark furniture, art or accents. This will help you to achieve that dark and moody atmosphere without making a permanent change. Plus, it will be much easier to change it back to something else, if you decide you want to.

Keep it natural. 2022 was a great year for plants! The world really embraced the benefits of having plants in your space and that won’t be stopping in 2023. In fact, the trend is upping the ante. Bringing in tree stumps, logs, or other outdoor items as furniture, along with using the serene colors of nature, will transform households across the country – and luckily, this is a trend that’s easy to embrace as a renter.

Let there be light. Bright and inspiring lighting can make a world of difference in a home – especially in an apartment home. To achieve this, add in extra floor lamps, table lamps, and open up those blinds to let the natural light shine through. Not only will this give your apartment home a breezy look and feel, but it could boost your mood, too.

Which will you try?
